PI/PMI Launch! Is your car or life in Neutral?
To say this Blog article will be historic is an affirmation that I am creating will only be validated by others in years to come. As you read this, you will be reading the first public writing of something that encapsulates 30 plus years of my life and also a direct concept I have been building and planning for the past 3 years. So perhaps you can imagine the thoughts going through my head, on how to make sure that this first writing will be worthy of not only the amount of thought and effort I have put into it, but more importantly, worthy of inspiring people to endorse, believe, and be a part of such a simple and yet also such a profound concept as well. I hope I do it, you and the world justice with it.Today I am writing about the first tenant of the Positive Imperative. As the universe is always expanding or contracting, so too are our thoughts and actions as they are either Positive, Neutral or Negative.
Much if not everything in this world falls into Positive; things that are Constructive and promote the Health of people and our world, Negative, things that are Destructive and do the opposite, and everything else which make up the vast wasteland of Neutral.
It is the importance in understanding and comprehending the Neutral that will be a unique contribution and distinction for the PI concept to share with you.
Neutrals are by default negative, an inaction or indecision is a no while in that course of action. My feeling is that the Neutral place of thinking and action is also the state of mind of the largest part of society. It is also then responsible for things that are and things that are NOT happening in the world. A positive response to negative things.
In the coming months/years we will share a unique understanding of the price that we and the world pay for living in the Neutral. Just looking at the synonym chain gives you a concise idea of where we are going with this concept. Neutral‚ synonyms include, inert, immaterial, impersonal, apathetic, non aligned, dispassionate, disinterested, and the list goes on. The whole idea just keeps on going when you take one of the words from the chain like apathetic, and continue the chain you get; indifferent, uninterested, listless, droopy, unconcerned, lethargic, lazy and bored.Interestingly enough, most synonym chains of Neutral will always take you back to the word Negative.
No matter what the worlds problems are, they are to some or even a large degree caused as an affect of the vast quantity of people doing nothing to resolve them. The simple solution of course is summed up by, Be The Change Those simple three words from Gandhi, so impactful because of their profound meaning as well as their congruence with the life he lived. So for today I would like you to think about all the things and places where you participate in the Neutral. When you interact with someone at the coffee and donut place in the morning, the gas station attendant, or the variety store clerk, are you Negative and get cranky about long lineups or other things that irritate you, generally no fault of theirs, are you Neutral and simply interact sometimes without so much as a word or the bear minimum and make little or no eye contact, or are you part of the positive energy? It’s really simple to be able to make their day brighter, with a smile, by looking at their name tag and calling them by name or a simple, “how are you doing today,” and a “have a nice day‚” at the end of the interaction.
As time goes on we will continue to reinforce this notion of all interactions and thoughts falling into the realm of Positives, Negatives and the vast arena of Neutral. Everything you say and do, how you drive your car, raise your kids, if you volunteer, discard, walk by or pick up a piece of trash and indeed how you life will move you congruently in one of two directions.Stay tuned and come back often as we launch not only PI but PMI the Positive Music Imperative. Yes music too falls into Positive, Negative and Neutral and you will be impressed to learn about the Power of Positive Music.Look forward to some amazing music, from talented writers and performers that have an important story to tell.
